Old Friends

Just reading my friend, Marji's blog (http://tangledstring.blogspot.com/) and she is right about long term friendships. I have friends (not as old as she is, but still) that I've know for 25 (Nusan)or 30 (Julie and Ruthie) or 40 (Christie) or 50 years (David and Greg) and it is so comfortable to talk to them. Still fun, still entertaining but they already know my backstory. And because I work where a LOT of people work, I get to spot people I haven;t seen for years. I just saw Ronnie the other day and I think I haven't seen him in four or five years. (I saw Brandy's baby today--four years ago, I was on the way home from the hospital with him.)
